How Group Classes at 30-15 Work

There is a reason group tennis classes are how most players fall in love with the game. You train alongside people at your level, the energy is high, and learning to play points against real opponents is both the fastest way to improve your match sense and the most fun.

At 30-15 Tennis Academy in Glendale, group tennis classes pair that energy with real structure. Certified coaches run focused drills, rotate players through live points, and keep every session moving so no one stands around waiting for a turn.

Your first beginner or intermediate group class is free. Advanced/Live Ball sessions require a membership or paid drop-in. Here is how group classes at 30-15 work.

Why Train in a Group

★★★★★

"Mher and Oleg do a great job working with my daughter. She's improved more in 3 months at 3015 than in a full year of park tennis lessons. The structured curriculum is exactly what she needed."

— Monika G.

"Professional, structured, and the coaches actually care about each kid's progress. The free trial sold us — we signed up the same day. Best tennis academy in Glendale."

"This is the real deal. My son went from never holding a racket to placing in his first tournament inside 6 months. We drive in from La Crescenta every week — worth it."

"As an adult beginner I was nervous about being the worst player in the group. The coaches met me where I was and now I'm hitting full rallies. Highly recommend the Yellow Ball adult track."

Common Questions

Group Tennis Classes FAQ

How much do group tennis classes cost?

Adult group memberships are available for one, two, three, or four sessions per week. See the current membership rates above for your level and training frequency. Your first beginner or intermediate group class is free. Adult Advanced/Live Ball requires a membership or paid drop-in and has no free trial.

How big are the group tennis classes?

Classes are kept small and grouped by skill level so everyone gets real coaching and plenty of court time. This is not a large clinic. Each player gets meaningful individual feedback every session.

Are group classes good for beginners?

Yes. Beginner group classes are a relaxed, supportive way to learn the fundamentals — grip, footwork, groundstrokes — and to meet other players starting the same journey. No experience needed.

What is the difference between group and semi-private lessons?

Group classes are larger and more affordable, offering great energy and live point play with several other players. Semi-private is for two players who want more individual attention at a lower rate than one-on-one private lessons.

Do I need my own tennis racket?

No. We provide a racket for your first class. Our coaches can also help you choose your own when you are ready — they know which frames match different playing styles and budgets.

Where is 30-15 Tennis Academy located?

30-15 Tennis Academy is at School St, Glendale, CA 91202, on the Herbert Hoover High School courts. We serve Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, La Crescenta, and surrounding areas.
